I get it now.

I spent about 45 minutes doing the review for my math (which I got all right except for two – and they were fractions, and everyone knows fractions suck.) I then decided that I was going to google Omagh again and see if I could figure it out. Only this time I googled the Real IRA instead hoping that would lead me down a set of links yet untraveled, and it did. I now understand that the Real IRA is an organization that is considered to be terrorist related, based in Northern Ireland. They seek to become their own Country (I didn’t realize that Ireland wasn’t a country, technically it is its own kingdom within the UK – hence United Kingdom). They want the British to withdraw from their land so that they can ultimately have rule over their own land (which is understandable). However, how are they going to gain control over their land if they continue how they are? This part confuses me, but I guess it confuses everyone.

Now, onto further information…I dyed my hair. I haven’t done this since oh, September and it really needed to be done. I generally dye my hair in a redder shade (my hair starts off dark brown and then at the tips is blonde-ish. It drives me up a wall!) I prefer my hair to be red and apparently, other people do too. The other day a coworker stopped what they were doing and stated matter of factly, “You should dye your hair red.” Done. Now I just need a trim and I’ll be good to go.

I also put my flannel sheets on my bed (laugh all you want, I enjoy my flannel sheets in the “winter.”) It never feels like winter without them. I don’t care how hot I get at night, there is just something nice about sinking into bed wrapped in flannel-y goodness. I also put my down comforter on, and the duvet cover doesn’t look as bad as I thought. Once I hang up this awesome picture I got up in Jersey, it will actually all tie together. The room is slate grey (with blue-ish tones in the right light), the carpet is tan (none of this was my choosing). The picture is based on white, with dark branches and two blue-jays in the branches. They match the wall perfectly and the brown and black branches match the duvet cover perfectly. I guess it works in its own sense of weirdness.

Alright, I’m off. Have a good night everyone!

So this is weird – I was just doing some studying for my Private Security class and in the book there was a section about the IRA. Just thought that was a strange coincidence!
